19 of Medvedev's 21 victories have been won on hardcourt
A revitalized Medvedev won his maiden championship for nearly 30 months with victory over Corentin Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a former world number one, has experienced a challenging year, winning just one win at the Grand Slams and undergoing a difficult moment at the American major.
Medvedev's unpredictability on the professional circuit - and issues with his serving in especial - caused him dropping out of the elite rankings and ultimately splitting with former coach Cervara.
Now collaborating with Johansson and Goetzke, Medvedev has consistently progressed in the recent weeks - climaxing in a tightly fought three-set win over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's first championship since the 2023 Rome Masters and maiden on a hard surface from spring of the previous year.
Victory also means Medvedev has achieved 21 victories at 21 different tournaments.
"This marks the first occasion I am participating in a event with my both daughters simultaneously, so to get a trophy is really nice," stated ranked player Medvedev.
"This title is in tribute of my second daughter her name, because the maiden victory I won when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The athlete, the 2021 US Open champion, had failed in his previous six finals, including in Halle previously this season.
His counter-punching approach and regular emotional displays on court had led observers to doubt if his ability to compete at the elite level was over.
However the player has made changes in recent weeks, making an effort to come to the net and play assertively, reinforced by an enhanced service.
He recovered from a deficit in the initial set against the tricky opponent, securing 4 of the concluding five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The competitors swapped break points in the middle set before the challenger, attempting for his initial professional victory, gained dominance to create a final set.
The opponent defended 4 early break points in a competitive deciding set before the champion secured a break to that score to secure the win.
Suitably, he clinched the title with a shot at the net, with Moutet incapable to control a volley after a lengthy match.
